Multiple Language set up

SOLVED

Multiple Language set up

I have a Magento store set up in UK. I need to sell my products in France and Holland. I can see that I can download language packs etc but I also need to keep the stock seperately for each language (they will have local offies and warehousing for distribution etc.)

How do I set up a different language selling the same products but with stock being updated from the local country.

Hello @cvselman

For your different language stores I would reccomend using a differnt store view for each.

Unfortunately Magento does not allow setting a per site inventory as the scope is Global. However, there are probably some extensions which will allow you to. I have added links to a few extensions I found upon a quick Google which may do what you need:

http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/multi-location-inventory.html

http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/advanced-inventory-extension.html
