Unable to edit categories in MS Egde and Explorer (1.9.2.4)

Hello

I cannot edit or add categories using the MS Edge og Explorer browser.
The category form is only shown for at split second before it disappear and leaving only the tabs. Clicking on these have no effect.

If I try using Google Chrome, I have no problem. The form shows as expected and I can edit the category.

Why do I have problems in Edge/Explorer?
How to fix it?

Can you open the developer console in those browsers to see if there are any JavaScript errors or failed HTTP requests. It will be interesting to see if there is any additional third party code that's breaking the page or if it's a core Magento JS problem. It's not one I've come across before.
