Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons er

Hi experts,

 

 

               while my site running slowly, I have done compilation.  After that my site getting the following error.  Also /index.php/admin is not opening.  Can anyone please help me to resolve this. its urgent.

Go to includes folder in the Magento root directory then open config.php file and comment out following two lines

 

#define('COMPILER_INCLUDE_PATH', dirname(__FILE__).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'src');
#define('COMPILER_COLLECT_PATH', dirname(__FILE__).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'stat');

Then clear caches and try to reload your site. It should be working for you.

Hi,

 

 

          Thank you very much muk_t.  Now its working fine.  I am new to Magento.  Actually it happened after when I was compiled it and enabled. I have one doubt, is compilation really needed or not.  Reply is always appreciated.

Pre 1.6, compilation was a possible speed increaser. From 1.6 forward, code optimization has made it's benefit shrink quite a bit.

 

You are better off to increase realpath_cache_size = 128k and realpath_cache_ttl = 3600 along with setting up opcache or redis

 

From 1.6, forward, you can run the website just fine without compilation, you will find that it does not play well with 3rd party modules.
