Remote Connection to my server on PC from laptop

Have a presentation coming up and what I am trying to do is setup my magento website on my pc to be able to connect to it on my laptop. I believe I have everything setup the way it need to be with port forwarding on my router etc. On my laptop I can connect to my PC XAMPP but when trying to open up my Magento web page getting the 404 Not Found error. Anyone know how to resolve?

Someone please help in this. Been working on this for two days now and I think the only thing I am doing is screwing everything up more. Now I can't even access my magento admin panel from my local machine getting an Object not found! 404 error. Please!!!!!

Are you getting XAMPP default index page while accessing or not?
