I was just wodering if it was possible to make a slider/slideshow in CMS. And if it is then what is the code to put in/ what is the process?

Click on the above link and follow the below steps:

Step 1: Goto TO magento admin panel
system>> Magento Connect>> Magento Connect Manager Paste extension key to install your module

Step 2: Goto slider configration
system>> Configration >> General >> Slider

Step 3: Add your banner image
CMS >> Slider. add your image you want to show in banner slideshow.

You do realize you can't even install this. Magento gives me this:

• Couldn't resolve host 'magento-community'

 Not much use if you can't even install.
