Hello, for security reasons I would like to change the default url magento connect! (Mydomain.com/downloader). Could someone guide me how can I do this?

Instead of changing the URL, have you considered restricting access to the downloader directory instead?
You can do this by either password protecting it or use .htaccess to deny access from all IP addresses except your own IPs.
