Discount Amount Magento 1.8.0.0

i need that discount amount come subtract from subtotal without tax.

There is a setting in a standard Magento installation under System -> Configuration -> Sales -> Tax

You need the field "Apply Customer Tax"

it's already my configuration. I solved problem in another way.

I have customize the core of magento orders and customize pdf module.
