Is there any way to show the group price higher than the regular price?

SOLVED

Is there any way to show the group price higher than the regular price?

By default, magento only shows the minimum price between regular & group price.

Does anyone have any solution?

Thank you.

Hello @klee1221

I think you need to setup multi store for dffrent customer other then Customer Group. In multistore you should be able to achieve your requirements.

Can you specify why you want to do this? I mean what is your actual requirement so we can guide you in proper direction instead of going this way.

Re: Is there any way to show the group price higher than the regular price?

I'm trying to build a wholesale site with 3 currencys. (dollar/euro/yen)

Here's the list of setting so far.

* this site has currency rate at 1:1:1 (dollar:euro:yen)

* customers don't make a payment here (can skip this part)

* each customer has own discount rate.

* each customer will join one of group : DOLLAR / EURO / YEN

* each group will be redirect to store view : dollar / euro / yen with default curreny dollar / euro / yen

* price/add to cart will be hidden for guest

1. Below is price page of a product.

I did enter separate price for each group.

2. This is global discount page for YEN group customer.

3. This is actualy front end product page with YEN group customer logged in :

**( I want to show GROUP price for the YEN group customer group ) 12500 -> 7500. **

Is there any way to make this work?

I found this would make a simple/easy wholesale site for both frontend/backend.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Re: Is there any way to show the group price higher than the regular price?

Well I just reinstalled the file and did setup magento in multiple site/store mode.

I think this is only proper way to make a site with multiple currency.

Thank you.

Re: Is there any way to show the group price higher than the regular price?

Hello, I had the same issue, luckily I found this after special effort finding:

http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/multistore-pricing-extension.html

The extension gives me total control to set prices for each store view on my own way: in English store view - 1 price, in France (euro) - 1 price, and in Japan - 1 separate price for the same product. The prices are independently separated. I can modify the prices in each store, not just in the whole system.

This extension has the ability to set different special prices in each store view of each store. Sometimes, I use it for my promotion occasions, which is convenient for me not to install some other extensions for local promotion.

And more... it's totally safe, it's just like a software when installing in my PC, no changes are in the core system. The extension doesn't interfere in the databases.

Take a look, maybe it will meet your needs!
