Magento Edtion Version Codepool

Hello,

I am using the magento Enterprise version. After installation when i try to see the codepools i can only see two codepools core and community. I can not see the local codepool. If i have to develop my own custom module then i have to create a local codepool manually? Or in Edition version there is any other way to create a custom module? Thanks

You can create the Local codepool manually if there isn't any exists.
