Need suggestion for allow user to download sample doc file before make payment

Hi, I am new to Magento. I am using Magento 1.9. I am having following requirement and need suggestion to complete

I am developing site for bookstore. I want to allow user to view sample document before they make payment. Once they make payment they can download original copy of the the book only once..

Can any one suggest me to integrate the above concept

@hamalton Use downloadable product type for books and you can upload sample as well. So sample should visible on product detail page and main books can be download original..
