getLicenseInfo() Error -- How to Debug

Under "system > MageStore Extensions" I receive the error below.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getLicenseInfo() on boolean in /home/pets/staging/app/code/local/Magestore/Magenotification/Helper/Data.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 130

The data.php file doesn't have a "getLiscenseInfo()" function.. only a long encrypted string. I'm running Magento 1.9.3.6. CE

What would cause this error? how I can I resolve/debug it?

@Steve389y2945If you have purchased the new extension and after installing it you are seeing this issue then you should connect with Extension provider support. Either you may be missing some of the requirement for the extension causing this issue.
