Magento 1X support extended due to covid-19 ?

Hello is any one can tell about when support for magento 1x expires. i am hearing from different peoples on social media that magento extended its support due to covid-19 is any one can confirm or tell what exactly going one.

Magento 1 support will end of this month June.

There is not any official announcement regarding to extend the date.

M1 EOL Timeline for Magento Marketplace and Developer Portal:

June 17, 2020 – Developer Portal will stop accepting and publishing M1 extensions.
June 30, 2020 – Official M1 End of Life date.
July 7, 2020 – Removal of all M1 extension listings from marketplace.magento.com

Extension will be available on repo.magento.com until 8/6/2020.
August 6, 2020 – Removal of M1 extensions from repo.magento.com

@Manish Mittal  Why extension removal also? like Magento community 1x u can stop giving support, extension. But if i am running my small website in 1x and i dont need upgrade dont it fine to live with that ? if for that i need extension mean i cant get it from any where ?

Why magento doing this? stop giving support fine. but destroying whole product sign is that not make sensible

There will be no upgrade come after Magento 1 EOL so there is no meaning to continue with same and why Magento keep legacy things with their system.

You can directly contact or check vendors site if extension exists there. or for now you can try it with magento admin connect too to upgrade to existing version if that will work for you.

You can contact your vendors directly to ask them about this issue. If they plan to support their customers and M1 extensions, they might host and sell the extension outside of Magento's Marketplace. 

However, it is advisable to wait until the official announcement from your vendors.
