SUPEE 8788 AND SUPEE 1533 (Incompatible, Hunk error)

Just wanted to report that I cannot install v2 of the patch either for similar reasons described above.  One store is 1.6.2, another is 1.7.  As a result I cannot install SUPEE 3941 or SUPEE 8788.

I notified the Magento Community Manager, hope she can pass the information to Magento engineers... 1.5 1.6 AND 1.7 are missing SUPEE 3941 patch...

Same here. We can't update one of our shops because of some Hunk errors. The shop is runnung Magento 1.6.2.0

Hi all, I talked to our product team and you should be fine to use SUPEE 3941 on earlier versions - it was to address a CURL update for those using Magento Connect Manager. As always, test on a dev environment first.

Im sorry for jumping on this thread!

Im trying to install SUPEE-8788 V2 onto a 1.9.2.4 installation of Magento, and its failing, pretty hard!

Install supee 3941 before 8788 and you are all good.

Which version of 3941 should I install? We're running 1.6.2 on one site and 1.7 on another.  I assume 1.8?

There is only one verison available for donwload its SUPEE 3941 1.8-1.9. download that one and install on 1.7.... it works. fine.

I downloaded a fresh Magento 1.6.2.0 archive from your release archive and compared the failed files. They are identical to the files in my shop, means i haven't accidently changed them.

So the state is still that SUPEE-3941 can not patch Magento 1.6.2.0.

The same is happening to me on 1.6.2, no matter reverting pacth 1533 (without problems), but applying patch 3941 and patch 8788 is always failing due to the same reasons as mentioned....
