brute-force.ini

SOLVED

brute-force.ini

In the var folder there has suddenly appeared a file called "brute-force.ini. Has anyone out there heard of this one. I am running 3 stores on a dedicated server and this file seems to have appeared after the update to 1.9.3.1.

Re: brute-force.ini

Update - This is part of the new security for password protection. Apparently, it's supposed to be there.

Hi @petebarber,

This file is saved when Magento detects failed login attemps to the downloader.

(This feature was introduced on Magento 1.9.3)
