1.4 Shop / MySQL 5.7

We've got a customer still sitting on 1.4.1. (Yes, I know and they know the risks). I need to migrate them off the current servers at the very least. Question I have, is will 1.4 run on a MySQL 5.7 server?

If you want to go with Magento 2.

Then you need different system requirements. For more info

That's for M1 1.9.x. I suspect it'll work fine, just hoping to find someone that's used it before moving it and finding out it doesn't.

Mysql 5.7 is fine with Magento 1.9.

I am already using same.
