Hi @alphablondy,

Personally, I don't recommend installing packages through the Magento Connect manager. You should always review the code before installing what you need to install on the platform.

One way to do this is by copying and pasting the extension key from Magento Connect on this website: http://freegento.com/ddl-magento-extension.php

By doing that, you will be able to direct download the extension/language pack code and review it. Then you just have to install the extension like any other extension.

Best regards.
Gabriel

Re: 500: internal error on "Magento Connect Manager"

Hi,

We are using Magento 1.9.3.2, When visiting the Magento Connect for uninstalling plugins, we are seeing the below error 500

This page isn’t working

ourdomain.com is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

How to fix this, we had enabled error reporting, developer modes in index.php and .htaccess. But no Luck.

Anyone could you help us.

EITHER.
WE NEEDS TO REMOVE PLUGINS FROM DATABASE,

Since we needs to migrate to Magento 2, and we needs to remove some non-used plugin
