Access denied for user Database

I had to change the database password for some reason from the cpanel of my website, after which my magento site stopped working. Error report at path"public_html/test/var/report" says 'a:4:{i:0;s:94:"SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user '###DB'@'localhost' (using password: YES)";i:1;s:3104:"#0 /home/####/public_html/test/lib/Zend/Db/Adapter/Pdo/Mysql.php(111)'

I have gone to path 'public_html/test/app/etc' and updated the latest DB password in local.xml file, but still my site isn't loading.

Can any one help me with this issue? Any help much appreciated.

Hello,

When migrating Database to different servers, this issue sometimes occurs. That because the current mysql server doesn't have the user from old mysql server.

We should create new user and grant permission for it in new mysql server. You can read more here.
