Can't open Front or Back End of my site

Trying to log in to the back end of my site to work on it today, and I get this Error: 

There has been an error processing your request

Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons.

Same deal when I try to open the site. Developer is offline for another 5 hours, and I'm missing sales. How can this be fixed?

It's unlikely that you'll be able to fix this error without the help of a developer. If you wish to investigate further, you should be able to look in the var/report/ folder within your Magento installation on the server and look at some of the most recent files created in this folder. They will give detail on what caused the error.
