Cannot Log on to Magento Connect Manager

Clicking on "Magento Connect manager" logs me out of the system and redirects to the home page. No recent changes were done on the site except for the hosting provider moved our site to a different server. When contacted they came back saying everything is fine at their end.

What you trying to do? I would disable connect manager and also delete downloader. You don't need it and your site will be more secure.

Go to administration and disable connect manager module. Delete downloader directory as well. Connect manager like I said shouldn't be used
