How to create Fully Custom Megamenu in Ultimo Theme

Greetings to fellow community members!

I am getting a new site developed on Magento 1 using the Ultimo Theme (Demo 1). This theme comes with a nice mega menu, but the problem is that the Mega Menu shows categories and subcategories as per the category tree of Magento (one can hide certain items, but cannot for example sort the order of the links in the mega menu).

I think the theme allows custom megamenu items on the root, but they don't show up in mobile view.

I need some means of showing categories & subcategories with custom links, link text, and sort order

I am assuming this is a common need & problem. I would request guidance from experienced members on how to accomplish this.

Hi @mramitguj,

Since that is a paid module maybe the best option it should be to ask the vendor for that kind of support.

They will know better than anybody how to modify the original behavior of their product.
