Importing Product Images with a URL

Hey Guys, 

Could do with some help on how to go about this problem.

We currently have all our product imaged uploaded to Linnworks. This means that all our product images are in URL format.

I was using LinnLive to list products, but believe in the long run importing products directly to Magento is the way to go.

The problem is that Magento requires the media server path of an image when uploading.

Is there a way to import product images using an external URL?
