After updating from 1.8.0.0 to 1.9.2.0, all new registrations show up fine in the back-office, except everyone have "Customer Activated" attribute set to "no", this was not the case before and now i have to manually activate all the new accounts, this is a big problem for us.
Anyone know what to do?

I had not been told that the shop owner wanted this function enabled, so it was no problem after all..
I found the settings in:
System > Settings > Customer Options > Customer Activation
