Order being placed even if a payment method is disabled

Hi,

I am getting orders from a payment method which is disabled in the admin. It is happening randomly. The orders payment method being used is Check/Money Order, which is disabled in the admin configuration.

If someone has any ideas or solution behind this behavior then please share it. I am using Magento CE 1.9.2.0.

Is this a bug or it is a case of hacking?

Can you chech it your payment method is disabled for both website and default options?

Can you share your site url?

You also check if the payment method you disabled in admin is visible in front end.

Also check what @DanielStoyanov suggested.

It is disabled in the admin in all views.

No, It is not visible in frontend payment options on checkout page as it has been disabled in the admin in all views.
