Paypal IPN stopped working after server migration

Wa hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I moved my site to a new server and everything was working but started to get the 

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

error email. And the orders started to enter pending state instead of processing. Does anyone know where I should start looking. I did some digging around and noticed that there is suppose to be a file here:

• app\code\core\Mage\Paypal\controllers\ipncontroller.php

But it does not exist on the server or on my backup, if this is the cause I don't see how it was working and suddenly just stopped. Really appreciate any help, TIA>

Hi, Thank you for the link, I did find that link and followed the suggested solution (the settings in PayPal were actually correct but I did it anyway). It did not change anything thats why I posted the question here. I have also found other links that suggested a database problem but did not show a solution, as well as the possibility that the PayPal directory had corrupted file(s) but didn't say which.
