Not sure what is the Banner Slider you're using. Is it 3rd party extension or your custom code as part of CMS static block? If it's 3rd party extension, you should contact to the extension vendor and notify them about the issue. Otherwise, if it's Magento's functionality, just post more information how did you set up that banner, and let's try to find a solution.
