Product Image uploading problem. Browse for files is Grayed out

I am having problems with uploading images from the products section.

my site has stopped showing the icons to upload pictures in the manage product section. When I open a listing in my inventory, the icons for "browse files" and "upload". are gone.  All that shows up is a long gray icon that I am going to attach so anyone can see.

This is happening after I had en error and site went down, but I didn't install anything relating to products before crash either.

Can anyone figure out why this happens?
I am going to attach a picture of the window so you can see what I am talking about.

I do not see any response in your post.

I try to insert of image  from file.

It was restore of file from sever and than blow happen!

Show up the massage of "The directory is not writable by server"

What is the problem?

I'm shooting from the hip here, but lately several browsers turned off Flash support by default. As Magento uses Flash to upload files, this happens. You have two choices: either turn Flash on again or use Dull / No-Flash image uploader extension instead ( https://github.com/openstream/No-Flash-Image-Uploader )
