Quick Create Disappeared

We're using CE ver. 1.9.2.1 and today when working on a configurable product I clicked on Associated Products to add sizes but found that the Quick simple product creation section has completely disappeared. It's gone.  In it's place the Super product attributes configuration as moved up a notch. Create Simple Associated Product is still there but I'd rather use Quick Create.

I guess somehow Quick Create got turned off. Does anyone know how to turn it back on?

Hi,

It was a while ago so I don't exactly remember the scenario but it turned out to be something very simple I was doing wrong. I never got a reply to my question and I figured it was because people knew I was making that simple mistake and that I would get it and that's why I never posted my solution. I should have. I will try to remember but I noticed there are a couple of replies to it now. They are not associated to what I had going on but maybe they will help you. When I figure out what it was I'll post it.
