Save Config Button for setting currency under system / configuration will not work

Hello there, 

I am unable to change the currency for my site as the button seems to have broken javascript. I have looked at the console for the button for errors, but I havent seen any thrown. Is there an example of the JS that might be broken somewhere? I am using 1.9.4.
