Site shows up in Chrome but gives a 404 message in IE

Hi,

Im new to Magento and these forums so please be gentle.

I have just installed Magento and I always use Chrome as my default browser so have only just discovered the following error:

The site works perfect in Chrome but shows the Magento 404 error page in Internet Explorer as well as Chrome on Android, could anyone please help me with what could be causing this and what i do to solve it.

Its shows up if i use the following URL:

http://www.autographication.co.uk/index.php/?___store=english2&___from_store=english2 but not if i use the domain direct URL:  www.autographication.co.uk

there is a wrong configuration. i am not shure about your shop or your webserver. check your server configuration.

if this not work, pm me, may be i can help you. I need to look at your shop admin, this can be so much different things.
