Hi, I was following a web post to speed up my website.

I disabled some unused apps from System>Configuration>Advanced>advanced.
Now nothing shows in the right side of the System>Configuration page.
All of the configuration menu shows down the left, but nothing on the right.
I have cleared the cache and logged in and out, but same problem.
When I look at the .xml files in FTP app>etc>modules the apps I thought I disabled it still shows "<active>true</active>"
