Technical Support - Importing Product Images

Hello,

I am having trouble importing product images with CSV file.

Images are located in import folder under media directory with access 777 to all files.

In CSV file, images are identified with leading slash and extension at the end (ex.: /imagename.jpg) in columns image, small_image, thumbnail and _media_image.

After the import, images have been moved to the catalog file on the FTP and products have been created correctly but images are not linked to products and obviously don’t appear on the website.

I am using version 1.7.02 and importing CSV file through import/export, not data flow.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem or offer technical support to find the solution?

Hi @AudreyBeaudoin,

There could be multiple reasons why you are experiencing that issue.

Could you please share a screenshot of the "images" tab of any of the imported products?

I can see that the import process is failing.

I recommend using Magmi for imports, here you can take a look at it: 

https://sourceforge.net/projects/magmi/
