hello i am quite ingnorant but work myself with magento 1 website
and have a problem adding a picture to a duplicated item
I am not able to find the way to add picture

Please elaborate what problems you are getting while uplaoding images to duplicate product.
the problem is there are no buttons shown to click on for selecting picture and placing it
those buttons are there for existing fotos( for changing them) but not for new items or duplicates fo items???
You mean the Browse and Upload button at the bottom, you are not able to find those button for new products?
