payment method being disabled automatically

Hi,

I have a strange problem, I have payment methods being disabled automatically and the other being enabled automatically. on top of that I have admin user accounts being created automatically even after being deleted.

Any one have any ideas how I can trace the problem.

If you are not using latest version of Magento (either 1x series or 2x series) , have you applied all the patches?

Unusual admin account creation is a sign of compromised Magento site.

Is this a known security issue in magento? If so, is there a security patch for it?

We've had this issue too.

Every few days - the configuration of the Payment Methods changes.

sometimes PayPal will be re-enabled, when we want it to be off.

then sometimes, WorldPay will just get disabled, leaving no payment methods enabled so customer can no longer check out.

As far as I know, we are using the latest version of 1.91. of Magento with all patches applied.

Is there  a way to check the latest version is being applied correctly and to see if any patches are missing?

Hi, has anyone got a solution for this as we have the same issue on a site too.

Worldpay keeps being turned off and sometimes (but not always) PayPal turned on, or sometimes ALL gateways are turned off so noone can checkout.

After i applied SUPEE-6285 patch, this issue never occured again.
