New to Magento, lots of pages not found under CMS -->Pages, where else are they stored ?

Hi, i am working on a site running Magento 1.9.2.4.

Under CMS -->Pages there are the default Magento pages plus a few of the site pages, but most of the site pagesg aren't there.

Where else are pages stored?

I found them under Catalogue -->Manage Categories.

That's right, under CMS -> Pages only custom pages like promotions, About Us, Delivery info, etc. are found. Products and categories are placed under Catalog.
