Has anyone switched to a different checkout? I have seen various options and need something that works with Ultimo theme. Which is the best Checkout for Conversion, has anyone done any conversion comparisons? Thanks

One step checkout is surely the best one for increasing conversions. There are many searches and surveys published online stating how one can optimize his checkout for conversions.

I haven't seen any unbiased comparison charts since all of them are made by Magento extension companies that try to show only those parts of their extension functionality that are mostly beneficial.

There are really many Checkout extensions for Magento, and it may be hard to choose the best one. I would also recommend you looking at the company on the whole: whether it's a well-established business, does it have money back guarantee and things like that.
