Hi
I'm using Magento CE 1.9 and want to customise one of the built in themes.
I know its possible to create a new theme and then inherit from an existing theme (using fallback and theme.xml) but because I want to customise RWD or Modern can I alter these directly since they are not core files ?
I've experimented a little also with local.xml , adding this to the layouts, is this an alternative to the fallback technique ?
I don't want to create a theme from scratch, just change font, colours and also remove ''Estimate Shipping and Tax'
Any advise appreciated.
