CE 1.9.2 update via SSH

SOLVED

CE 1.9.2 update via SSH

Following command only installs 1.9.1. Any idea why it doesn't install 1.9.2

 ./mage install http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community Mage_All_Latest --force

Re: CE 1.9.2 update via SSH

Hello,

Thank you for the comment. Would you please be so kind and elaborate where to download the .zip source file to, where to put it and how to unzip and thereby merge it into the current magento installation? This has probably been answered before, but I can't seem to find it. Can you please provide a step by step instruction?

Thank you,

Martin

Re: CE 1.9.2 update via SSH

In broad strokes I followed the instructions here and upgraded Magento 1.9.1.1 (with the latest v2 security patch) to 1.9.2:

http://www.mageplace.com/news-blog/how-to-upgrade-your-magento-to-1-8-0-0-version.html

for me however after command:

./mage list-installed

None of the modules were listed, so I did the force upgrade:

./mage install http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community Mage_All_Latest --force

Everything worked well. It took a while, but it showed all the modules that were updated and it clearly stated 1.9.2 as the version numbers they were upgraded to.

However, after logging in to the admin interface I still see version 1.9.1.1 at the bottom. What gives?

Is this a known bug?

Please advise.

Thank you,

Martin
