Issue with the Browse files button

Hi,

I have a Magento website upgraded from 1.9.2.4 to CE 1.9.3.0 and there is an issue with the file uploads after the upgrade. In CMS page or CMS block if I try to upload an image or file that does not work.

When I click the browse files button nothing happens. I checked for the .swf files in media, removing or adding those files seems to have no effect.

Other websites I have works fine. So I don't think this will be an issue regarding the flash player in the browser.

I also tried to upgrade the website to CE 1.9.3.1 and the issue still exists.

I do see this error in the console "id_e229fd1af6dff76447118a470c5e0489_UploaderJsObject is not defined".

Does anyone know the solution for this issue?

And you tried clearing the cache also? And the upgrade you did manually via ftp I hope? Do you see any errors in /var/log/system.log og exception.log

@ptomterYes I tried clearing cache and I did the upgrade via FTP. I see this in the log:

Call to undefined method Mage_Rss_Helper_Data::isRssEnabled() in /var/www/vhosts/DOMIANNAME/httpdocs/app/code/core/Mage/Rss/Controller/Abstract.php on line 44

Hoping that's not related to the browse file button issue I am facing.

_UploaderJsObject is not defined is indicate that you its still trying to use the old button that requires flash to be updated and installed.

Are you sure that all tables are updated, also. that the /skin/adminhtml/default/default/media folder is removed ?

I removed the swf file in the media folder. So that did not help.

Also, once I upgrade the Magento and access the index.php, won't the database gets updated on its own? 

Please let me know if I have to do anything else.
