Can I set up admins on my customers end, so they can manage their orders themselves?

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out if I can give admin permissions to individuals from my customer's side, so that they can manage their orders themselves.

i.e. For customer A, I allow user 1, 2 and 3 to have admin rights and they can access it under My profile in order to make purchases, etc.

Or this has to be set up by me in the Magento 2 admin portal

Yes, you can create the user and user roles. Please follow the steps below:

• Roles:
  • Log in to the Magento Backend.
  • Goto System -> User Roles
  • Click on "Add New Role"
  • Please fill in the "Roll Name" and select the "Role Resources" tab
  • Select "Resource Access" to "Custom"
  • Checked "Resources"
  • Click on "Save Role"
• Users
  • Log in to the Magento Backend.
  • Goto System -> All Users
  • Click on "Add New User"
  • Please fill in the fields
  • Select the "User Role" tab
  • Select the Role
  • Click on "Save User"
  • Please flush the Cache
