Hi!
I just started with Magento and I have this big issue, here are the settings
- Use categories path for products ulrs : yes
- Use canonical link meta tag for products : yes
The problem is that my customer has a lot of duplicate products because of the store locator. Product A is the same than product B but in a different store so he needs 2 products.
My goal is to add a canonical tag for the chosen product but according to this article : http://www.adurolabs.com/blog/technical/how-to-add-rel-canonical-in-magento, my current setting make it impossible "this option is a site wide setting and will give each page its own rel canonical tag pointing to itself and there is no way via this method to define each rel canonical tag." The post has been written in 2013, is there any solution now ?
