Downloadable Product Out of Stock on Front End

I added my first downloadable product and no matter what I do - I have added link and made sure the item is in stock and the link is working - the front end is showing the product as out of stock.  How do I fix this?  TIA for any help you may be able to offer.

Check stock status in admin, check QTY as well, still no luck, then run reindexing.

Both OK and reindex didn't resolve the issue.
