Google reCaptcha or Mageplaza reCaptcha
I see the newest 2.4.7-p4 includes Google reCatcha for Admin and Storefront. On my last 2.3.5 version I was using Mageplaza reCaptcha extension which worked very well for us and stopped pretty much all Botts. Now with the new 2.4.7 is it better to use the one included in Magento or use the Mageplaza Extension. Which one is more advanced and dependable?

Re: Google reCaptcha or Mageplaza reCaptcha
I believe the two extensions will differ in features, interface, and compatibility with other modules.
Google reCaptcha in Magento is likely to be more compatible with newer Magento versions. On the other hand, Mageplaza reCaptcha will integrate more smoothly with Mageplaza module, such as One Step Checkout, etc.
If everything is working well for you, there's no need to make any changes.

Re: Google reCaptcha or Mageplaza reCaptcha
The choice between Google reCAPTCHA and Mageplaza reCAPTCHA depends on your platform and needs. Here’s a direct comparison:
1. Google reCAPTCHA
✅ Pros:
- Developed by Google with advanced AI to detect bots.
- Supports multiple versions:
- reCAPTCHA v2: Requires users to click a checkbox or solve an image challenge.
- reCAPTCHA v3: Works invisibly without user interaction.
- Free for most websites.
- Works on various platforms (WordPress, Laravel, PHP, etc.).
❌ Cons:
- Requires a connection to Google’s servers (may affect page speed).
- Can sometimes create friction for users if challenges are difficult.
2. Mageplaza reCAPTCHA (For Magento)
✅ Pros:
- Designed specifically for Magento, ensuring seamless integration.
- Supports both Google reCAPTCHA v2 & v3.
- Easy setup via Magento Admin Panel (no coding needed).
- Allows customization of where CAPTCHA appears (login, checkout, contact form, etc.).
❌ Cons:
- Only for Magento—not useful for other platforms.
- Still relies on Google reCAPTCHA, so it has the same limitations.
Which One is Better?
- For Magento users → Mageplaza reCAPTCHA (easier integration).
- For all other platforms → Google reCAPTCHA (more universal).
- For best user experience → Google reCAPTCHA v3 (works in the background).
Are you using Magento, or do you need a CAPTCHA solution for another platform?
