Home page CMS multi language

Using magento 2.4  I have english and french store view . home page works in english but I can not set new CMS for french . I created new CMS page and assigned it to french store view but switching to french language . I get the message saying no CMS found . any suggestion ? thanks

Ok . got this one figured out. 

switch to store view > configuration > general > web > default pages > cms home page dropdown.
