We want to have 50+ stores setup as pickup locations in Magento 2.4 but the stores will not have Shipping from them, all shipping inventory has to be taken from DC.
We have setup the stores as sources and have checked the pickup flag, but when a customer needs to buy a product the inventory from the store cannot be used for shipping.
How can we tell Magento: Only use Source X for Shipping purposes, BUT do use all other Sources as BOPIS locations?
We see these four as the main scenarios for customer journey:
1) Product is available in DC and in selected store (shipping and pickup enabled)
2) Product is available in DC but NOT available in selected store (shipping enabled and pickup disabled unless user changes Store)
3) Product is NOT available in DC but is available in store (user should be able to add to cart but have shipping disabled)
4) Product is NOT available in DC or store (Add to cart disabled and message "SKU is not available")
