Improving Search Results for Internal Search and Multiple Words

HI Guys. Looking for help with improving the internal search engine results for multiple words. Appreciate any help:

Working to improve the results of internal Magento search engine (esepcially for multi word searches) and stumbled upon "Minimum Terms to Match" in store -> configuration -> catalog -> catalog search -> elastic search settings

Does anybody have insight and examples on how to use this? I'm not sure how to use the documentation reference . Thanks!!
