Index Management. Last update was 3 months ago. Magento 2

Your help would be appreciated. The category products - indexed cateogry/products association

Indexed category/products association

is set to update on save. But it shows the last update was 3 months ago and I can't seem to get it to work. 

At the same time I am experiencing that items i list today have "in stock" and "quantity 1" chosen but shows as out of stock on the front end. Not sure if these two things are related?

Hi @magentocollect,

It may be there some issue in the background.

To make sure rerun index once using terminal from the magento root folder.

php bin/magento indexer:reindex
