I am on a shared server and want to use the newest version of Magento. I was told because I was on a shared server that one of the library files was not available on my server. the store front works but the admin section is the one that needs the library. Is it possible to install the software and put that library in a folder in my doc root and then make magento look for that library in my location thus allowing me to run the latest version. Otherwise if I want to use Magento I can only use version 1.9.
Hoping this will work but then I will need to know what files I would need to put the new path in.
