Actually, file sample depends on the fact what product types you want to import, e.g. for configurable products columns are different that for downloadable or simple.
To get the sample you can manually create one product and export it. If you need lots of products you can multiply them in spreadsheet. There is also article with main required fields described and sample file attached -
