I hope this is the right forum for this question. I am a complete Magento newbie. I have just installed it successfully on localhost with WAMP. Now I would like to integrate it into WordPress. I saved these instructions - http://www.tripleginteractive.com/blog/wordpress/magento-wordpress-updated-approach/ - but alas, they apply to Magento v.1.x. The specified plugin requires locating a file called Mage.php which apparently, unless I am missing something, does not exist in Magento 2. Nor does the particular functions.php file that needs to be edited. 
My question is, am I missing something that would enable this plugin to work with Magento v.2? Or alternatively, does anyone know of any way to get Magento v.2 working inside of WordPress? Please and thanks.
