No download link in customer account after purchases

Hello,

After Payment the Status for Download (only) Article isrocessing.

On my old Magento Installation was the Status after Payment so, that the User can Download the Article. 

What i have to do?

In Magento, the default order status after the payment is "Processing." You can customize the order status to allow customers to download articles immediately after payment.

Here's how you can achieve this:

1. Change Order Status After Payment:

   • Log in to your Magento Admin Panel.
   • Navigate to "Stores" - "Settings" - "Order Status."
   • In the "Status State" section, locate the "Processing" status.
   • Click on the "Assign Status to State" button.
   • In the popup, select the appropriate state (e.g., "New") and click "Save Status Assignment."

   By changing the order status to a state where customers can download articles immediately (such as "New"), you ensure that the download link becomes available right after payment.

2. Enable Immediate Download:

   • Log in to your Magento Admin Panel.
   • Navigate to "Stores" - "Settings" - "Configuration."
   • In the left sidebar, under "Sales," click on "Sales."
   • Open the "Sales" tab and expand the "Downloads" section.
   • Set the "Shareable Links" option to "Yes."
   • Save the configuration.

   Enabling "Shareable Links" allows customers to download articles immediately after payment.

With these changes, when a customer completes the payment, the order status will change to the configured state (e.g., "New"), and the customer will be able to download the articles associated with that order immediately.
